How Can I Sign-up for Service?
You can order online. Click the Order/Browse tab and follow the simple instructions. You can also contact us by email or phone.

Can I Choose What Day & Time My Delivery Arrives?
No. We plan our routes as efficiently as possible and will notify you of your delivery day. If your delivery is going to an office please use the comment box
for delivery instructions to let us know your hours of business and we will deliver during office hours.
To see when we deliver to your area, click here or the About Us tab and then Delivery Schedule.
If you have other special delivery instructions or requests please note
them when you place your order. We will do our best to
accommodate your request.

Can I Choose Exactly What I Want in My Box?
Yes. You can use our website to build your own Custom Box by shopping our web site.
You can select a standing "weekly" Custom order or a "one time" order and place
a new order from week to week. If you prefer a Variety
Box, but have certain restrictions we are happy to replace up to four items in
your box. Just tell us the items you do not want to receive and we will do the
rest. Grocery and non-produce items can be added to any Custom or Variety Box
order.

Can I Have a Standing Order?
Yes. Most of our customers prefer to subscribe to weekly or every other week service for their convenience. You can add additional
standing items to your Variety Box order or create your own standing Custom Box order. If the item you
requested becomes unavailable we will replace it with a similar item or you won't be charged for it.

How Do I Know What Will
be in My Box?
You can look online at each box to view the contents
that week by clicking the "Weekly Menu" button to the right of each Varity Box title. The Variety Box Menus
are a tentative menu and may change due to quality or
availability.

What if I'm Not Home?
No Problem. Most of our customers are not home when their deliveries arrive. Our groceries are fresher than in stores, and will be just fine on your porch for a few hours. If you will not be home and you are receiving refrigerated or frozen products, you will need to leave a cooler out for your order to be delivered. You may also receive deliveries at work if you prefer.
If you forget to leave a cooler and have ordered frozen or
refrigerated items we will either 1. Leave a cool box
and charge the customer. 2. Not deliver the product and
charge a restocking fee. This decision is made at the
discretion of the BBOC delivery person.

How Can I Determine if You Service My Area?
We currently deliver to Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Meridian, Nampa and Middleton. If you live outside these areas please contact us to join a waiting list in your area.

How Can I Determine Which
Produce Box is Right for My Family?
Generally speaking, the Small Variety Box meets the weekly needs of about 2 to 3 people. The Large Variety Box meet the weekly needs of about 3 to 5 people. Things to take into consideration are; how often you eat out, if you consume an average amount of product (which is much less than recommended), if you are a vegetarian, and how much extra produce you want to add to your order.
If you prefer to pick and choose exactly what you want, the Custom Box may be the best option for you.

What Happens to the Box That My Produce is Delivered in?
We purchase durable, and recyclable, boxes for delivery of our produce. We request that you return the boxes to us by leaving them at your delivery
area the following week. Our driver gladly picks them up, drops off your new order, and brings the old box back to our facilities. The boxes are reusable and can last for a very long time when treated kindly. We recommend leaving a cooler out if you are receiving refrigerated or frozen products. This is also a great option in the warmer months to keep your produce fresh.

Where Does the Produce Come From?
We base our menu on what our local organic farmers have
available. We also purchase out of season and specialty
items from other reputable, Certified Organic farms. All of
our produce is 100% Certified Organic.

How Do I Pay for My Order?
You have six primary options for paying your bill. They are:
- COD - Leave cash or check for the driver in your delivery area on delivery day.
- Credit Card - Pay online at the time of order. If you have a scheduled recurring order, we will bill you for each delivery.
- Prepay By Mail - You can mail a check to our post office box to be received prior to your delivery.
- Bank Bill Pay Service - Contact your bank for details.
Your bank mails us a check prior to delivery.
- Pay Pal - Log onto the Pay Pal website (www.PayPal.com)
and send your payment using our account email: admin@brownboxorganics.com
- ACH - Enter your bank account information on the secure form and we will bill your account for each delivery.

How Do I Know What Are in the Side Orders?
The side orders (Assorted Fruit Side, Assorted Salad Side,
Assorted Cooking Side and Snack Pack) are grab bags made up of various items
that we have ordered in addition to our usual main menu
items. They vary from week to week. Side orders are always a
great value. If you prefer to control what you receive on a
side, you can select add specific items to your Variety and Custom
Box order.

How Can I Add to My Order?
You can add to your order by clicking the Order/Browse tab
on our home page. If you have a standing order, place that
item in your basket along with any other additions you would
want to order. Your new order will override your standing
order. If you usually receive a Variety Box the additional
items will only be delivered one time. If you prefer to have
the order additions be a standing order, please note this in
the delivery instructions. You can also call, email, or fax your order to us. See the Contact Us
page for details.

When Do I Need to Place My New Order or Make Order Changes?
We need to receive new orders
as well as order changes by noon on the Friday prior to your delivery
day.

What If I Need to Skip a Delivery?
If you select a weekly or every other week schedule and
need to pause your delivery simply call or email us no later
than the Friday prior to your scheduled delivery. We will
pause your orders for the dates you have requested. We can
note your vacation dates up to one year in advance. You may
also consider sending your order to a friend or local food bank
while you are away. If you contact us after that time we are usually
able to pause your order but may charge a restocking fee for the late
cancellation.

Is There an
Additional Delivery Charge?
Delivery is always free within our delivery area. Please see our delivery schedule to determine if we service your area.

What is the
Sales Tax?
We charge the standard Idaho tax rate of 6%. All item prices on the website are before tax. Tax is assessed when you complete your order.
For simplicity all of our Variety Boxes total to a
rounded number after tax.

How Does the Milk Bottle Deposit Fee Work?
A deposit will be charged for each glass bottle in the amount of $2.50
with the first dairy delivery. If the bottles are returned each week,
no additional charges will be accrued. If the customers should suspend
milk delivery and return all bottles, the initial deposit will be
refunded. If the customer does not return bottles for more than 1 week,
the additional deposits will be billed to the customer.

What Should I Do With the Egg Cartons
After They Are Empty?
We ask that our customers make every effort to return egg cartons for reuse. Reusing the egg cartons
saves our local farm money in turn keeping their prices low.

Can You Deliver a Box as a Gift or
Get a Gift Certificate?
Absolutely! - within our standard delivery area. You can choose the box type and any extras, and we will send a custom note with the delivery at no extra charge. You can also
purchase gift certificates in any denomination. We are happy to mail your
gift certificate with a personalized card. Pure produce is a beautiful gift,
symbolic of life and energy, perfect gift for someone who is expecting a new baby,
is ill, is celebrating a new wedding, or for anyone who just likes to eat good food!

How Do I Get My $5 Credit?
If you are a new customer, and you subscribe for at least
30 days, we will credit your account $5. If you tell someone about our service, and they subscribe for at least 30 days, we will credit both of your accounts $5.
In both cases, the $5 credit will be posted to your account
and processed internally. Please be sure that anyone you refer gives you as their reference when placing their order.
If you do not see a credit that you had expected, please
contact us. If you need fliers to share around the office or at your favorite hang-outs, please let us know. We are happy to put some inside your next delivery.

What if I'm Not Satisfied?
If you receive anything that does not meet your standard of excellence, we will replace it or credit your account at our discretion. Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We appreciate
your business. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.

Why is Organic Produce Better?
Organically grown foods are safer for your family, and the environment. Organic, in short, is defined as 'grown without the use of synthetic pesticides,
herbicides, or fertilizers'. What this means to you and your family is far less chemicals in your body. And for the environment, far less poisons in the ground. You can read more about the importance of Organic choices here.
